7/5/2023 0 Comments Battle axe pathfinder![]() Bastard swords are nearly non-existent until around Ch 4.My focus as to which are better options is generally dependent on the uniques you get: The list below contains my observations of loot drops (not artisan gifts, which are RNG dependent and require investment in building towns and doing potentially bugged quests) through to Pitax Palace. Perhaps more importantly than any other concerns about choosing weapon feats, you should consider what none of us truly knows yet: the volume/variety/potency of magic weapon drops. ![]() The generic info is frustrating because of the aforementioned wasted feats. Unless you are a P&P veteran who needlessly memorized what weapon types have what stats (and even if you know this already), the game should help you by identifying this information separately for each of the couple dozen typed feats. When I first started the game I picked Elven Curved Blade proficiency thinking it would look cool as a duelist and suddenly saw that my graceful swordmaster was bringing the smackdown with a big two-hander, causing me to restart. What is a battle axe? What is a bardiche? One-handed? Two-handed? Ranged? Melee? Piercing? Slashing? Bludgeoning? 1d6? 2d6? 2d4?īasic information that should be in the tooltip pop-up so players can make an informed decision. It should not give you the same stupid generic tooltip going 'You can choose one type of weapon bla bla.'. Hovering your cursor over a weapon name (such as in the long-ass list when you click on Weapon Focus), should give a small tooltip with the basic stats of that weapon, such as hovering over that weapon in your inventory. None of the replies here actually address the OP's very true statement that there is ZERO information about a weapon/shield/piece of armor until you find it in a shop (earliest is Oleg after you screw up Lv1 and maybe even Lv2 of your feats), OR you pick it off a dead enemy.
